Campus Visit Programs

During the academic year, the Office of Undergraduate Admission hosts several campus visiting programs for students and their parents. High school seniors may attend an Overnight Program, transfer students may attend a Transfer Information Session, and Nursing students may attend a Nursing Information Session. There is also a visit program for high school sophomores and juniors.

Advance registration is required for all programs. Call 800.87.MILLS to register or fill out our online form.

Discover Mills
Please join us for Discover Mills - a special event for high school juniors and seniors to experience the unique and exceptional environment at Mills. You and your family will have the opportunity to hear from dynamic students and the College's administrators and discuss the benefits of a women's liberal arts and sciences education. You will be provided an overview of the admission and financial aid processes, as well as a chance to attend a class and tour the campus.

Fall Visit Day
Please join us for Fall Visit Day - a special event for high school juniors and seniors to experience the unique and exceptional environment at Mills. You and your family will meet dynamic students and the College's administrators and learn about exciting academic opportunities. You will be provided an overview of the admission and financial aid processes, attend special faculty lectures, and tour the campus.

Transfer Visit Day
If you want to transfer to a college that offers a collaborative learning environment renowned for academic excellence, Mills College may be the best choice for you. With nearly one-third of our students transferring to Mills every year, you'll find that we offer personal attention before and after your transfer.

Experience the Mills difference at the Transfer Visit Day, where you can tour our beautiful campus, hear from current faculty, talk with current students, visit classes, and learn about the academic opportunities Mills can offer you as a transfer student.

Bring your application for admission and the required credentials with you, and we'll waive your application fee and expedite your admission decision!

Interview Day
Schedule your 45 minute individual interview with an Admission Counselor on one of our Interview Days. If you are located in Southern California, you may schedule an interview with a visiting Counselor in Huntington Beach, Ontario, Beverly Hills or in San Diego. Or you may schedule your interview on the Mills campus. Interviews provide a great opportunity to discover more about the vibrant academic environment at Mills as well as a chance for you to share important skills and experiences you would like the Admission Committee to consider when reviewing your application. Interviews are not required, but are strongly recommended.

Scholars in Action Overnight Program
Please join us for our Scholars in Action Overnight Program - an exciting event for students who have submitted an application to Mills. You and your family will meet dynamic students, campus leaders, and faculty members; tour the campus; visit academic departments of interest; and meet and mingle with the future class of 2013. You will spend the night in the residence halls hosted by a Mills student and sample the curriculum by attending classes.

Mills Emerging Scholars Program
Please join us for our Mills Emerging Scholars Program - a special program for high school sophomore and junior scholars to experience the unique and exceptional environment at Mills.You and your family will have the opportunity to discuss the benefits of a women's liberal arts and sciences education, attend college admission workshops, and tour the campus.

Transfer Information Session
Mills may be your best transfer option! To find out why, we invite you to join us at a Transfer Information Session. Faculty, current students and staff will present a brief overview of academics at Mills, the admission process, financial aid and transfer merit scholarships, as well as student life.

Pre-Nursing Information Session
If you are interested in a career in nursing, the 2+2 Pre-Nursing Program offers an exceptional foundation for your nursing career. Learn about our partnership with Samuel Merritt College, admission, financial aid, and the unique Nursing Leadership Seminar. High school and transfer students are welcome to attend.
